He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:11
The Problem of Suffering
The oldest book in Scripture is Job, written before Moses penned the first five books of the Bible, with the Ten Commandments and the Law.
Job deals with the problem of suffering. Job’s friends give him the best answers and advice humanly possible at our dual level of consciousness of right and wrong. God’s Presence is the only answer Job is given and that is enough.
Presence
Presence is trinitarian by nature, the very fingerprints of God in all of creation that transcends the dualistic nature of binaries. It is in the quantum field that the trinitarian nature of atoms arises. Presence doesn’t nullify, binaries, like the concepts of right and wrong, but it does transcend them with a trinitarian wholeness in a higher level of consciousness ie the mind of Christ.
The Presence of I AM
It is why St. Paul says that the law is a tutor (of binaries and dualism) that brings us to Christ. Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets and superseded them with his Presence.
Before Abraham was born, I Am…I Am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. The eternal I Am ness of Jesus, the Christ, moves us into a higher level of consciousness, we call the mind of Christ.
Job written before the law gives us the best answers our dualistic intelligence can give us. The Only answer Job is given is the Presence of God, with its creating wholeness and unity of Presence, I Am.
Our Presence is eternal and will outlast our physical body, to be like the resurrected body of Jesus, which we see when the heavens opened up to Stephen as he saw, individually, the heavenly host, and when Jesus was on the Mount of Transfiguration with his disciples as they were in the presence of Moses and Elijah. So we are admonished to treat strangers well, less we meet angels unaware.
God has put eternity in our hearts, and we cannot fathom it with our dualistic consciousness. In fact, we cannot live in Christ at the same level of dualistic consciousness we came to Jesus with, hence Jesus parable…”Abide in me and I in you for apart from me you can do nothing.”
Our Presence is our greatest gift and ability as human beings. When I was at Elizabeth’s bedside as she was passing over, our words and actions fell away, and only the love of our presence was left, and that holds on both sides of the veil. Love never fails.
Unlock Eternity In Your Heart
As Eternity is in our hearts, may we become aware and open up to the transcendence God has put within us. Our hearts are a threshold, a liminal space to the eternal, and Christ is the key. Let us evolve. Let us come into the quiet. Let us walk into the mystery. We don't know where we are going but we know who ripped the veil. Love never fails.
