Cancer causes me to reflect.
A lot of folks may think when you become a mystic you transcend your faith, but no, it's finding your faith at a deeper more expansive, and embodied level, in every leaf, every tree, every gust of wind, and in the depth of humanity as human beings. After all, we are all created in the image and likeness of God. That creating spark is in every single person ever born out of eternity.
Maybe it's learning to see through God's eyes with love and compassion. After all, Jesus said, "I only do what I see my Father doing."
It's time to stop making God into our image, that of our fallen human agendas, twisting Scripture to justify our own twisted evil, 'in the name of love', turning to become who we really are in Christ, being restored from the fall, bearing the full Imago Dei from within, through our love, joy, and peace, our patience, kindness, and goodness, and yes, our faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control...Becoming who we really are in Christ.
'The Joy of the Lord is your strength.' Not the fear and anger of your pea brain.
So look up through your heart and see God standing before you, smiling with eyes of love, light, and life enveloping you with his presence. Let awareness overtake you and reveal the dancing molecules before your eyes.
With deep love, grace, and all peace+ Bob
