Where Worlds Collide
At times, we may feel like we’re caught between worlds…theologically as well as politically.
Being in the middle, between it all, with Jesus is the burning spot where everything is on fire, being proven and refined. It is the prophetic point of vision and eternal life. It includes our extremes and transcends them into our wholeness, in Christ.
Loving Wealth and Power
Jesus never stood with the far right or the far left of his day, the Religious Pharisees, or the Political Sadducees.
Jesus never stood with the Rich, the Boastful, or the Proud and Arrogant of his day. Why?
Because our love of money, and profit, is the root of all evil. People and empires worship at their feet.
Where Jesus Stands
Jesus stood with the poor, the outcasts, and the sinners in the fires of their affliction, calling out to the broken, disheveled and frayed, to the infirmed and the diseased, the losers, and the downtrodden calling us all to himself, into creations fire of transformation, to be reborn of heaven and of God through the living flames of love into eternal life.
He still does. We are the burning one's We are the burning bush Beings of light and of life and of love Born of the Father of lights.
Loving The Other Until There Is Only Us
God transforms us with all of our complexities into the Oneness of our Presence…pouring through us the Spirit of life.
God grant us the grace and the power of your love.
May we radiate your Presence, Lord Jesus
in everything, we say and do.
And above all...
Ignite us with your Burning Compassion
that we might be the Burning Ones of Light and of Life,
Loving Each Other
Even all mankind...
The heavens and the earth, as God does
May we live heaven on earth,
May we love,
